Terrestreum
Conceived in response to the open call Reimagining Museums for Climate Action, TERRESTREUM is a project that aims to rethink the role of botanical gardens in an age of rapid and irreversible climate change. The project takes an architectural approach in order to appropriate the terminal of one of the world's largest public airports - London Heathrow - for use as a new kind of botanical garden/urban farm. The submission was selected for inclusion on the short-list.
